SCC-AC Setup After Sandbox Refresh

Overview

After refreshing a Salesforce sandbox, you must uninstall and reinstall SCCAC to restore functionality. Sandbox refresh changes critical Salesforce org configurations that SCCAC depends on, preventing SCCAC from functioning correctly.

What Changes During Sandbox Refresh

Sandbox refresh modifies several key configurations that break SCCAC functionality:

  • Salesforce Organization ID - Regenerated with a new unique identifier
  • My Domain URL - Subdomain changes to reflect the sandbox environment
  • Service Cloud Voice Feature - Automatically disabled during refresh
  • Contact Center Configurations - Overwritten with Production values

These changes invalidate SCCAC's integration with Amazon Connect, as the package relies on these identifiers for authentication and routing.

Required Steps

1. Uninstall SCCAC

Follow the complete uninstall procedure to remove all SCCAC components from your sandbox:

Important: Complete the entire uninstall process before proceeding to reinstallation. Partial uninstallation can cause configuration conflicts.

2. Reinstall SCCAC

After the uninstall completes successfully:

  1. Install the Package: Follow the installation guide to add SCCAC back to your sandbox
