AWS Resources

Important Notes

Please follow updating SCC-AC Resources guidance to update to latest version of resources.

1.8.0 May 2026

  • Enhancement: Improved Salesforce connection performance – OAuth connections are now cached, resulting in faster and more reliable Salesforce integrations.
  • Enhancement: Messaging sessions now have the ability to end when a contact disconnects on the server-side from setting a EndMessagingSessionOnContactTermination attribute in the used SCC-AC contact flow, ensuring resources are freed promptly whether the disconnect is detected via EventBridge or contact trace records. This serves as a server-side safety net to end orphaned Salesforce messaging sessions. For more info, please see SCCAC-EndMessagingSessionFunction section.
    • Note: Post-contact summarization support for Messaging Sessions ended from SCCAC_EndMessagingSessionFunction not included in this release.
  • Enhancement: Automatic messaging session termination after transcript delivery – Messaging sessions are now automatically closed once the conversation transcript has been successfully delivered, reducing unnecessary open messaging sessions.

1.7.0 January 2026

  • Enhancement: Lambda Layer: Enhanced the Lambda layer to allow disabling CTR export to Salesforce and remove empty bubble messages at the start of messaging sessions.

1.6.0 November 2025

  • Feature: New CloudFormation template for upcoming SCC-AC version that includes a new SCCAC inbound sample flow for Amazon Connect Agentic AI.
  • Enhancement: Contact Flow: SCCAC - Sample Omni-Channel Subflow - Task Routing - {ContactCenterId} uses SCCAC deployed queue by default.

1.4.0 September 2025

1.3.0 July 2025

  • Enhancement: Lambda Layer: Lambda layer enhancement to reduce cold start time.
  • Bug fix: Filter call center id to handle call center specific contacts in Lambda functions.

1.2.0 April 2025

  • Bug fix: Revamped 3 CTR (Contact Trace Record) fields and deprecated old ones. See field changes on CTR Import Notes.
